Sea freshwater lakes
Sea freshwater lakes is a tourist area located in the Gayo Highlands, Central Aceh District, Aceh. This lake is the largest lake in the province nanggroe aceh darussalam. West side of the lake there is a county town is the city of Takengon, which is also the capital of the Central Aceh Regency. Commodities grown in the Gayo highlands, among others, is the Gayo coffee (Coffee arabica), which are well known, potatoes, passion fruit, tomatoes, peppers, corn, and vegetables. Access to Takengon more easily reached through the City Bireun. There is a small terminal specifically to Takengon. Alternative way to Takengon can also be reached via blang kejeren and Kutacane. The lake is the source of water used by communities in Central Aceh District. Visitors who come to the lake is not in the fees collected. In this lake we can see the beautiful sunset.
